the prayer plan

City Place Church believes in the power of prayer. Twice a year, during the months of January and August, we unite together through prayer. In January, prayer is accompanied with fasting. During the month of August, prayer is our focus. Prayer allows us to humble ourselves to see God at work and positions God as a priority in our lives. We believe that in order to win, we have to win in the spiritual.

In 2O25, We are praying first and fasting for freedom.

Use the provided resources as a guide to keep your prayer bold and passionate.

What to expect

  • Experience the presence of God and hear His voice

  • Walk in freedom as spiritual walls are torn down

  • Establish God’s kingdom authority in His church, our home, our city. 

  • Creating a habit of enjoying prayer.

  • Seeing God answer personal prayer so we can praise God for it.

As a part of the plan each day try to include a time of praise- inviting God to the prayer time, repentance- asking for forgiveness from areas of shortcoming and acknowledgement- of the power and ability of God. Take special attention to have moments of quiet to listen and reflect on what God is saying in response to your prayer time. Pray individually and with your family when you can.

National leaders and governance, national missions, we would turn from sin and God would heal our land; ARC church planting; revival in America; racial reconciliation, COVID19; The Gospel would reach and be received in the ends of the Earth; Israel

  The Lost: Pray for Orlando to drop out of the top 10 of Unchurched and De-churched cities in America.

Co-workers, neighbors, family members

Kingdom Authority: Pray against barriers and strongholds in our city so that the church of Jesus can claim spiritual territory.

Racism, Classism, Sexism, Church Divisions, Sickness and Disease, Mental Health, Broken families, Fatherlessness, Sex Trafficking, Sexual Sin and more
